I am absolutely impressed with your ability to capture light through glass, light and its effect/affect on subject matter is something I strive to portray in my artwork. This is incredibly realistic and captivating. Great work Hans!
jade was the perfect hue for this monochromatic piece...it really brings out the details of the glass without creating shadows that are too severe to represent the smooth texture, and without adding too much color to the look of the glass it self. the hints of gold are perfectly understated. a very pleasing work of art.
