Layering and blending

I personerly like to began layering using lighter colors first and then to dark. I also fine that using Prisma Color Water Color Pencils first on most paintings as my tone values and then spray with a fixative to hold down this value and then apply my colors from Prisma colored pencils. As for blending I like to us blending sticks and Orderless Spirits with a brush to give me a true paintery effect and prisma blending pencils for the finer details. For larger paintings I'll under tone with water color paint wash then spray.
