Color pencil solvent

Try "Bestine" instead of odorless mineral spirits. It's sold in art stores, the label says it's a rubber cement thinner. I wouldn't want to read the MSDS. I'm sure just breathing it leads to all sorts of cancers, so don't sue me. However, it works SO MUCH BETTER. No "blotchy. It's clear like water so you can see what you're doing. I like to apply it with soft paint brushes, but you can use the q-tip if it's that important. I can't describe it as well as if you JUST TRY IT! The effects it renders will vary based on the amount of color and how it's applied I have seen some really impressive painterly effects done. Bestine was the "hot tip" secreted by professors at Mass Art to my graduating illustration class of '91. **Bestine is "hexane" and Gary Green uses it too.

Hierarchy? Yes, it's the main subject within a composition. The focal point.

Wow. Your an amazing artist. I really Love your style.

Great portfolio. I love what you do with the art markers AND you seem to be as well versed with pencils and art stix as you are with them. Someone was asking about using art stix under tips. Perhaps you could help them out and all of us by sharing about your technique. I know I'd appreciate it.

Hi Vikki, great work! I got your note - feel free to contact me at hbedrosian@hotmail.com or holly@hollybedrosian.com.

Great portfolio, especially those pieces that address the human condition which evoke at least one or more emotion.

you mentioned wondering what size the drawing "meditation" is...it's approx. 10" x 14"
