This works for all kinds of mediums but I use the double ended markers. When you have a highly textured paper, the ink will form a pattern when you press lightly and move quickly. The rougher the paper the better. If you practice this with different speeds and strokes, you might find that you can simulate grass, leaves, cement, clouds, or even wrinkled skin. This may seem obvious to some, but still, the more you do it, the more effects you might find. The accidental marks are your friend. castletures.com

4Cont.... I guess this time all I can do is compleate the piece and see what it will look like at the end. Thanks for the advice. :0)
Dear friend. Thank so much for leaving nice comment on my work in progress. I totally agree with u about the basket values of my latest piece. I wanted to play with temperature, value, color contrast and designs all at the same time and ended up making mistakes. As Scott pointed up, my balloon's values are too dark. The flowers and the butterfly got lost in it. That really bothers me. I tried to fixed it but it was near to impossible to erase it without compromising the entire project...
Thanks for fanning :D
Nice work!
