I have to thank you so much for the quick response and for taking the time to address my questions so thoroughly. I know that your advice will be of great help to me. Just as walking away and taking a break can help, advice is more likely to sink in and take hold when it comes from someone you respect.I have no problem spending whatever time is necessary but it's helpful knowing beforehand that a pretty fair amount of time is required. complete a project is very helpful to me.

Thanks for your kind comments on my work. I did finish my "Morning Visitor" drawing and am now doing an acrylic painting of the larger image. The photographer now has my colored pencil version. The acrylic version will be for sale at my show in January at The Tin Grizzly in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Hello. You are right! The horse's leg is a little off. I sketched the horses rather quickly. I'm not sure if the horses will remain as they are or if they will look like horses from a surealist perspective. I was considering other options. The horses may be cyborgs. Trying to work out some details still. Thanks for your insight. You have a great eye. Actually, they are lovely as a pair.......Steven
